lightening storm

view from our back deck.

there was more than 1400 lightening strikes in this one storm, for California this is a very rare experience. It filled our hearts with fond memories of when we lived along the western shore of lake michigan.

After reading some of the posts around town, I found out that there had not been a storm like this in Auburn in over 70 years. We were very lucky there were no fires but equally as lucky to have experienced the event.

I know it may be bad but I love lightening storms. Cozying up with the family and listening to the thunder is a gorgeous experience. How pretty are those photos!!xo

You take beautiful photos Michelle! That dark and foreboding sky is truly incredible. There is a power in nature that you cannot deny. Thanks for stopping by Treasures Found! I hope you will come again! Enjoy the day! Erin
